Passion Missions Objectives:
Partnering and Connecting:
Extraordinary potential exist in all God's Children! This ministry seeks to unveil that potential through uniting the Body of Christ.
For years many have been ministered to through missions and have come to know the Lord through churches that have come to their communities. However, because we often go to the poorest of the poor places, those individuals rarely have the same opportunity to go outside of their own area to share the love of Jesus. This ministry exists to give every individual the opportunity to go to the mission field and share with others through the partnering and connecting of churches.
Our desire is not to give another free handout, but through long term discipleship and radical reconciliation churches would partner together to fulfill the great commission and make it possible for those who can not afford to go on missions to have the opportunity to go. This is a concept of using short term missions with a long term goal.
Churches must be willing to invest in transformational giving, Empowering one another, building bridges and collaboration with one another. These steps involve the sharing of lives together and building trust with others in the Body of Christ that may have a completely different background and upbringing. The results will leave you speechless and help you to comprehend and understand the love of our Father God on a deeper level.

This ministry is committed to fulfill the ministry of reconciliation in all areas:
Culturally, denominationally, economically, socially, spiritually and racially. 2 Corinthians 5:18
The gospel crosses all cultural, denominational, social and economic boundaries. The gospel deals with the condition of the heart not the outward conditions or appearances. Many times Christians love to serve when it fits into their comfort zone and when it makes them feel good about themselves. Christ call us to lay down our lives for others.
My guess is most of us would go volunteer at a Rescue Mission to assist in serving a meal to the homeless. But how many of us would open our own table and invite these same folks over for an evening of fellowship? Jesus tells us in Luke 14 that when we throw a party, we should not invite those that can repay us but rather we are "to invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they can not repay you."
Passion missions challenges every person to look at each individual as a person and not to put a label on them with preconceived ideas.
Passion Missions encourages and teaches individuals to become all that God has called them to be and to walk in it. I Timothy 1:6-7
It is human nature to label and stereo-type people. In the same way that we label others, they too have labeled us. Often times our view of ourselves is filtered through the tapes that play over and over in our head from our parents or significant others in our lives that have labeled and defined us over the years. Although some of these things are very positive and great there may be some things that do not line up with God says about us as His children.
This ministry seeks to find and identify the hidden potential in individuals, build them up, and restore them to the treasure that God sees in them. Assisting them to believe what God says about them over what others have been saying about them. The Scripture is clear, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."
Though there are many parts of the Body of Christ we are still all just one Body. We need each other. This ministry seeks to bring the different parts of the Body of Christ together so that we may all function together in love and that others looking at us would know that we are Christians.

Through personal relationship with God, Passion Missions challenges individuals to seek God and to expectantly wait for Him to answer. John 10:4
Passion Missions provides opportunity for individuals to hear and obey the Word of God. Through Listening Prayer, participants have the opportunity to find out what God is doing and then are offered the chance to follow Him through obedience and join Him in what He is doing.
When we listen to the Lord and follow in obedience no time is wasted and fruit is evident. God created us with a deep longing and desire to know and to be known. Through listening for the Lord's voice, we find not only direction but power. I Corinthians 4:20

This ministry presents individuals the opportunity to meet others right where they are; to lay down and submit their agenda for God's. Galatians 2:20
Laying down our own life involves placing others before ourselves. In order to regard others first, we must seek to know them and allow them to know us. Passion Missions seeks to meet those we are ministering to in their own environment and in a way that they will be able to understand the love of Jesus.
While on a prayer walk in a community, some youth came upon a gorgeous white puppy that was chained to a porch. One of the students wanted to give it some water. One of the leaders, poured a little water in a plastic cone cup that had been laying on the ground, and began to approach the puppy slowly. Attempting to get away the dog jumped up on the porch. The leader now realized that this beautiful, yet skinny puppy also had opened wounds on his ears with flies all over him. The chain was caught on a board on the porch so she reached for the chain to lift it so that he would be un-tangled. The chain was heavy and difficult for her to lift, she needed both hands. As she lifted the chain, she noticed a pan laying upside down a little further in the lawn. She then reached for the pan, and the dog lunged at her almost knocking her down. She then poured the water in the pan and he lapped it up quickly. She then shared with the group that there are things that we can see from the outside that the people here need, but as we get closer we realize that their wounds are more significant than we thought. We have the answer to their thirst and hunger in Jesus Christ but we have to figure out how they will be able to understand what we are giving them by finding the method that translates into something that they can understand. The dog did not understand the cup but he did understand the pan. Nothing changed, I was still giving the dog water but the method was different. I laid down how I would drink the water to find the way that he would drink it!

FOB - Walking in Faith through Obedience and with Boldness:
This ministry provides opportunities for individuals to move forward with confidence in fulfilling God's plan for their lives. Hebrews 11:1, Ephesians 3:12
Though unable to see with our eyes, we will follow the voice and steps of Jesus with boldness knowing that He goes before us, behind us, and is familiar with all our ways. The bible is filled with example after example of God asking His children to do certain things without knowing where their step of faith would lead them in the end.
In Genesis, God told Abraham to go to the land that He would show him. Yet it was not until two years into the journey that God revealed to Him that He was taking Him to the promise land. So often we want to know what, where, when, and to what degree, before we will move, and God is simply asking us to start moving. This ministry desires to give participants the opportunity in a safe environment to begin to walk more in faith.
