Passion Missions exists to create partnerships by connecting and equipping individuals to reveal the Glory of God. Through the process of Discipleship, we seek to teach people to live a life of P.A.S.S.I.O.N., a Personal Availability to Serve Selflessly and be Involved Openly with their Neighbor. Through mission trips and local outreach opportunities, Passion Missions serves the Body of Christ in learning to walk out their faith in everyday life.
In 1998, Melissa Russell left a promising career path to pursue following God into full-time ministry. As founder and director of Passion Missions, she brings experience, diverse networking and a biblical approach to daily walking with Christ. She has had the opportunity to lead 100+ groups in training, planning, and implementing mission trips and outreach opportunities both locally and internationally. In 2006, Melissa obediently followed God to implement the vision given to her, “to take the mission field to the mission field.”—Now known as Passion Missions.
God has created great potential in all His children. This organization is focused on unveiling hidden potential and making an avenue and means for individuals to discover and use those talents to touch the lives of others.

My journey into full-time support raised ministry is not what I had planned for or even ever imagined. As a matter of fact, when the Lord began calling me, like Jonah, I began to run the other way. God's faithfulness and mercy has gently brought me to embrace that my life is not my own and to run towards that which the Lord has set before me.
Being a full-time missionary is a walk of faith. The process has been exciting yet challenging. And I have learned that the Lord loves His children so much that He allows them to go through the fire, so that what is left will remain. (read more)

Passion Missions Board of Dirrectors
Passion Missions operates ministry under a working Board of Dirrectors. The individuals on the Board are vested in this ministry and have hands on involvement in Passion Missions. A clear understanding is important to ensuring the accountability for the ministry and director.
The Board meets regularly with the dirrector so that they are aware of what God is doing in the ministry as well as assists in overseeing the finances, policies and dirrection of the ministry.
